Opening its doors inwards Dec 2019, Cabin A, designed past times Bourgeois / Lechasseur Architectes, is located inwards Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, inwards Québec's Charlevoix region. The purpose of forest paneling on the walls in addition to ceiling of the shared living expanse farther emphasise the analogy to naval architecture.
The principal entrance is located nether ane the roof’s sloping wings, the left leg of the alphabetic lineament “A”. The shared living infinite is a long viewing gallery providing breathtaking 180-degree views of the St. Lawrence River. Designed to conform groups of upward to 12 people, the cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen. The all-black finishes render a beautiful contrast inside the double-height living, dining in addition to viewing expanse which is clad inwards Russian plywood. The plywood has too been used for the built-in furniture, piece light-coloured birch panels extend to the exterior in addition to contrast sharply alongside the night hues of the metallic roof in addition to the exterior walls' cladding.
