While working on the DIY laundry that I shared inwards Part 1 of this series, nosotros were also renovating our ensuite. Previously the infinite had a really white on white scheme, alongside grayness flooring tiles. Wanting to soften the color palette this fourth dimension around, I decided to innovate some warm beige hues. I loved the textural complete of the flooring tiles, together with decided to depict on these colours when choosing the correct Dulux pigment colour.
Using my fail-proof method of selecting a hit of Dulux Colour Swatches to seek inwards the space, I chose a selection of neutrals from the Dulux Colours of New Zealand range. My shortlist of low-cal beige, grayness together with greige hues included the next Dulux colours:
- Opononi Double
- Whakarewarewa Quarter
- Mangaweka Half
- Torere Double
- Haast Double
Because the ensuite lacks natural light, I didn't desire to larn likewise dark. Narrowing it downwards to 2 of the lighter hues, Dulux Haast Double together with Opononi Double, my final pick was Dulux Haast Double. I loved how it blended seamlessly alongside the flooring together with shower tiles, together with it provided a soft sheet against the bold dark plywood article of furniture together with heating rail. Dulux recommended a Wash & Wear Low Sheen, which is perfect for the bath area, together with nosotros paired it alongside a costless white, Dulux Southern Alps for the Ceiling.
